Bluegrass Nationals slated for Saturday, April 26
CALVERT CITY, Ky. – The Bluegrass Nationals will be presented at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway Saturday night, April 26, with a $10,000 first-place payoff to the winner of th 40-lap UMP Late Model main event.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 60 and over and military. Children 10 and under will be admitted free. The grandstands will open at 2 p.m.
The pit gate will open at noon, with pit passes costing $30. The cost for driver and car is $45.
Practice will get under way at 3 p.m.. Qualifying will begin after the drivers meeting, at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Times for the remainder of the program will be largely dependent on car count, the time needed for qualifying and the number of heat races needed for each division.
Extra prize money is on the line for UMP Modified, UMP Pro (Crate) Late Model and UMP Stock Car competitors as well. Modifieds will run a 30-lap feature paying $5,000 to the winner, Crate cars will run 25 laps for $3,000 to win and Stock Cars will go 20 laps with $2,500 for first place.
