Brown piloted his Lone Star Hydro & Maintenance #21 MB Customs/ Knowles Performance Engine Modified the $1,500 win with the Touring Outlaws Modified Series (TOMS) on Saturday night at Southern Oklahoma Speedway. Kicking off the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Hunt for the Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental, Chris Brown was one of 45 entries signed in at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) on Thursday evening. After moving up one spot in his heat race to place third, Brown secured his spot into the $4,500-to-win opening night feature with a 15-lap Real Racing Wheels B-Main victory. Rolling off 14th for the A-Main, Chris jumped up six positions, reeling in an 8th-place finish. Chris will remain idle this weekend before returning to action on August 15-17 during the 5th annual Southern Street Stock Nationals at Rodney Wing’s Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).
