COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Sets Sights on Bad Boy 98

Beebe, Arkansas (04/04/17) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil competitors will go into battle this weekend – April 7-8 – with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) in the annual Bad Boy 98 at Batesville Motor Speedway.

The $20,000-to-win/$1,200-to-start event will find the top drivers from both series battling for big money and bragging rights at the 3/8-mile oval.

The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series will be led into battle by a talented list of drivers, which include Jack Sullivan, Kyle Beard, Jon Mitchell, Hunter Rasdon, Zach McMillan, David Payne, Garrett Alberson, Chandler Petty, Austin Theiss, Gavin Landers, Tanner Kellick, Brandon Wilson, and more.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series contingent will include Scott Bloomquist, Josh Richards, Tim McCreadie, Earl Pearson Jr., Jimmy Owens, Don O’Neal, Dennis Erb Jr., Darrell Lanigan, Steve Francis, Hudson O’Neal, Boom Briggs, Timothy Culp, Gregg Satterlee and Colton Flinner.

Two CCSDS provisionals for the 98-lap finale will be determined by the following specs:

1. 2016 Top 10 with perfect attendance in 2017.
2. Quick time of current members with perfect attendance.

In addition, a talented cast of independent national and regional drivers will look to steal the show.

The program on Friday, April 7 will see time trials and heat races contested for the Super Late Model division, while the program on Saturday, April 8 will include a pair of B-Mains and the 98-lap finale. Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Front Wheel Drives, and Modifieds will also be a part of the nightly shows.
