Arkansas and Missouri Doubleheader this Weekend for CCSDS
Batesville Motor Speedway and Legit Speedway Park on Deck

Batesville, Arkansas (04/26/18) – For the first time in almost a month the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil is set to return to action.

The upcoming weekend – April 27-28 – will find the tour rumbling through Arkansas and Missouri with events at Batesville Motor Speedway and Legit Speedway Park.

After winning two of the first five events this season, three-time and defending series champ, Jack Sullivan has jumped out to the early lead in the series standings.

Sullivan, who will enter the weekend with the day-glo orange spoiler as the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, will be joined in action this weekend by a host of hungry series competitors, including Robert Baker, B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Robby Moore, Austin Theiss, David Payne, Tanner Kellick, Jake Davis, Travis Ashley, Gavin Landers, Zach McMillan, and more.

The Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle is shaping up to be a good one. Five drivers have filed their intent to compete for the title. Robby Moore currently leads the way over Tanner Kellick, Austin Theiss, Travis Ashley, and Jake Davis.

Thus far into the season Jack Sullivan has two series wins, while Robert Baker, Hunter Rasdon and Cade Dillard each have one triumph.

The weekend opens on Friday night at Batesville Motor Speedway with a $2,000-to-win/$350-to-start affair for the CCSDS racers. IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Front Wheel Drive, and Mini Stocks will also be part of the evening’s festivities.

Grandstand admission is $20 with pit passes $30. Gates open at 5:30 pm. with racing action at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday evening takes the tour to Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri), where they will go head-to-head with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) in a $3,000-to-win/ $400-to-start event. The program which is being presented by West Plains Resaw & Missouri Hardwoods will include all weekly divisions.

The pit gate opens at 5:00 p.m. with the grandstands also opening at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 pm. with racing action at 7:00 p.m.
