Midwest Sheet Metal to Sponsor CCSDS Rookie Program

Little Rock, Arkansas (05/11/17) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil is proud to announce that Midwest Sheet Metal will be sponsoring the tour’s Rookie of the Year program moving forward.

This expanded partnership with the Missouri-based company comes less than a month after Midwest Sheet Metal became the sponsor of the series point leader spoiler, which is tabbed the “Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man Award.”

With their additional sponsorship, Midwest Sheet Metal will not only provide yellow spoilers at each event for the series rookies – Zach McMillan, Tanner Kellick, and Brandon Wilson – but they will also sponsor the season-ending point fund for the competition. The 2017 Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year will receive a $1,500 check, while the runner-up will receive $1,000 and 3rd-place will receive $500.

“It’s tough for rookies to jump on a tour, and they have my complete respect,” notes Chris Davis from Midwest Sheet Metals. “In addition, I thought it would be fun to give fans another way to keep track of where the rookies are running in the feature each night, so that’s why I suggested we do the yellow spoilers. Good luck to all three drivers in their chase of the rookie title!”

The three rookie candidates will don the spoilers for the first time during this weekend’s action in Mississippi.

“I’m just blown away by the generosity that Chris Davis and Midwest Sheet Metal has shown our series over the past month,” said CCSDS CEO Chris Ellis. “He’s truly an ambassador for our sport, and he’s making a very real difference for the drivers of our series. I truly cannot possibly thank him enough.”
