COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Set for Final Ride of 2017

Beebe, Arkansas (11/21/17) – The stars and cars of the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will compete in a final 2017 event. This Saturday, November 25 the tour thunders into Lone Star Speedway to compete in the Wayne Harris Memorial/ Topless Turkey Nationals.

By entering the event, Greenbrier, Arkansas’s Jack Sullivan clinches his third-straight series title. While Sullivan – who will carry the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man day-glow orange spoiler into battle – has locked down the top spot, good battles still rage behind the point leader.

Garrett Alberson, B.J. Robinson, Zach McMillan, Tanner Kellick, Kyle Beard, Robert Baker, Gavin Landers, Chandler Petty, Jon Mitchell, Brandon Wilson, and Hunter Rasdon make up the current Top-12 drivers in the series standings.

Zach McMillan holds a 5-point advantage over Tanner Kellick in the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year standings. Brandon Wilson sits in third.

The event will pay tribute to Wayne Harris, who was tragically murdered earlier this year. The Texan was an avid supporter of racing and managed the PR relations for World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series regular Morgan Bagley.

Bagley’s car owner – Wayman McMillan with P&W Sales – has posted a $200 bonus for the 50-lap feature’s hard charger in memory of Harris.

The Wayne Harris Memorial/ Topless Turkey Nationals will be held this Saturday, November 25 at Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas). The program will post a $5,000-to-win/$500-to-start purse for the 50-lap finale as the CCSDS competitors race without their roofs.

$1,500-to-win Modifieds, $750-to-win Limited Modifieds, $500-to-Win Factory Stocks and $200-to-win FWD/4-Cylinders will also be part of the program.

Pits open at 11 a.m. with grandstands opening at 1:00 p.m. The draw closes at 1:15 p.m. with hot laps at 2:00 p.m. and racing action to follow.

Adult grandstand admission is $20 with age 6-to-11 $5 and ages 5-and-under free. Senior citizens and active military will receive grandstand admission for $15. Pit passes are $35.
