Anthony Burroughs Rumbles To GVS Triumph

Corinth, Mississippi (10/21/09) –Anthony Burroughs rocketed his #121 Mississippi 811 Inc/BHL Motorsports/Mastersbilt By Stuckey/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $3,000 feature win over the weekend at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama.

Mother Nature once again altered the weekend plans of BHL Motorsports as cold weather forced the postponement of the Southern Regional Racing Series event scheduled for Saturday night at Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee.  As a result, the team entered the $3,000 to win Super Late Model event at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama on Saturday, October 17th.  Burroughs started the weekend by setting fast time around the 4/10 oval on Saturday night, which earned him the pole position for the dash.  He recorded a second place finish in the dash to earn the outside front row starting spot for Sunday's 40 lap feature. Burroughs snagged the lead at the onset of the event, and went on to take the $3,000 win, which brings his win total for 2009 to nine!  For complete results, please visit www.GreenValleySpeedway.com

Weather permitting, the team will invade Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi this weekend for the 15th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic, which boasts a $15,000 to win/$1,000 to start Super Late Model purse.  Anthony recorded a solid top five finish at Whynot Motorsports Park two weeks ago, and he, along with the entire BHL Motorsports team, are excited about their chances of taking home the $15k top prize this weekend.  Festivities are slated to get underway with an Open Practice Session on Thursday night with time trials and heat race action on Friday night.  Saturday night will see b-mains, and the 75 lap feature event.  For more information, please visit www.WhynotMotorsportsPark.com .
