Jesse Lowe Lands CVR House Car Ride for 2018

Crossville, Tennessee (12/21/17) – On the heels of his most successful season to date, Jesse Lowe is excited to announce that he has been tabbed as the pilot of the house car for CVR Race Cars in 2018.

The potent combo will be pursuing the 2018 NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series championship.

“I’m truly almost at a loss for words to be having this awesome opportunity bestowed upon me for 2018,” Lowe said on Thursday morning. “I can’t begin to thank Chip Vineyard and the CVR Race Cars team enough for choosing me to be the factory driver. I didn’t think it would be possible to top my 2017 season, but this opportunity will allow us to be even more successful in 2018.”

The 2017 season found Lowe piling up 23 wins to go along with 45 Top-5 finishes and 54 Top-10 finishes.

The 25 year old claimed the 2017 Crossville Speedway Track Championship as well as the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) Rookie of the Year title.

Jesse was also recently selected by DirtOnDirt.com as one of 2017’s Most Improved Drivers.

“Chasing the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series title is going to be an awesome deal, and I know there’s going to be a lot of tough competition, but I honestly believe we are more than ready for it,” Lowe continued. “Several of these tracks are places I’ve never seen before, so I’ll definitely be leaning on Chip’s knowledge to get me up to speed.”

When not competing in series action, the team plans to compete in local and regional events throughout the season.

The team’s CVR Race Car will carry the #1CVR on the side and will be powered by an Eagle Racing Engine. The entry will be maintained by Chip Vineyard and Corbin Moses at the CVR home base in Lenoir City, Tennessee.

Lowe will make his debut in the CVR house car on Saturday, December 30 at Georgia’s Cochran Motor Speedway during the Georgia State Year End Blast. The event is highlighted by a $2,500-to-win Crate Late Model event.

“This is a really good deal for both myself and Chip (Vineyard),” Lowe noted. “Both of us need to be out racing as much as possible. This helps the CVR to continue their research and development and also helps me continue to develop as a driver. Chip and the entire CVR staff have had to work really hard to make this possible, and the only way I know to repay them is to bring them wins!”
