Steve King Foundation Sprint Car Nationals Added to NCRA Schedule
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - February 3, 2009 - Park City, Kansas - Officials with the O'Reilly/NCRA 360 sprint car series, the staff at Dodge City Raceway Park and longtime car owner Danny King have announced the addition of the "Steve King Foundation Sprint Car Nationals" to the series schedule on Saturday night, May 2, 2009. It will be the first of a two night weekend as sprint car teams will then load up and head to 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas for a Sunday night outing.
The "Steve King Foundation Sprint Car Nationals" opens up the 2009 race season for Dodge City Raceway Park with a huge night in dedication to the Steve King King Foundation. "This race will be an all sprint car event," says Mr. King. "The NCRA 360 sprint cars, Dodge City Harley 305 sprint cars, jr. sprints and the Antique Sprints and modifieds will be the show."
The Dodge City mall car show will kick off the festivities earlier that day with awards being passed out at the track for all divisions. The car show will finish in plenty of time for the sprint cars to be able to make hot laps at 6:00 PM with racing set to begin at 7:30 PM.
Sponsors are already coming aboard as Budweiser, the staff of DCRP and others starting to kick in to make this a great event and to help raise money for such a worth while Foundation.
