Ocala, FL - NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series competitors turn their attention to rounds 3,4, and 5 of the RockAuto.com Winter Shootout as the cars and stars head to Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL for the Bubba Army WinterNationals January 26th-28th. The annual Winter Nationals event held at the 3/8ths mile, egg-shaped oval will feature three nights of racing with the $10,000 to win, 100-lap, 12th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship capping the weekend on Saturday January 28th.

Cars and drivers from across the United States will invade Bubba Raceway Park to etch their names in the record books for both the Winter Nationals wins and the coveted Chevrolet Performance World Champion title. It will all kick off with an Open Practice session on Wednesday January 25th. Gates will open at 5 P.M. with Practice from 7-10 P.M. Thursday January 26th, gates will open at 5 P.M., with Driver's Meeting scheduled for 7:15 and Hot Laps at 7:30 for the $2,000 to win, 40 lap event. Friday January 27thwill see another full racing program with a 40-lap $2,000 to win event.  Gates on Friday will open at 5 P.M., followed by a 7:15 Driver's Meeting and 7:30 Hot Laps.

Then on Saturday January 28th, the $10,000 to win, 100-lap 12th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship will take center stage. Gates will open at 4, Driver's Meeting at 6:15 P.M., and Hot Laps will follow at 6:30. Sunoco Race Fuel pole qualifying will take place, followed by Heat Races and B-Mains to determine the 24 car starting field. Drivers are encouraged to be at Bubba Raceway Park for the Thursday and Friday events, as the Top 12 drivers in combined points from Thursday and Friday's events that do not transfer through Heat Races or the B-Main will move to a Last Chance Qualifier Dash for a final chance to make the World Championship main event. The top 2 finishers in the Last Chance Qualifier will move to the World Championship main and will start 23rd and 24th.
