Winchester, TN - The NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division continues to expand heading into the 2017 racing season. The latest two additions to the slate are two Volunteer State staples to the dirt track racing scene - Winchester Raceway Park in Winchester, TN and Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN. The two Bob Harris owned facilities have seen significant upgrades with more in store, and the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stocks are now a part of the racing that will take place at each facility.

The addition of Duck River and Winchester give a strong contingent of NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock competitors a place close to their home bases to race for National points. Many of the competitors from the area have competed in, and often won, some of the largest races in the region for the NeSmith Street Stocks. Affording them the opportunity to compete for points locally will only strengthen the National Championship battle. Drivers will count their 14 best finishes during the 27 week long racing season in search of the title of National Champion.

To get things kicked off in a big way for the latest tracks to sign up, the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stocks will compete in the upcoming Winterfest at Winchester Raceway Park on Saturday February 18th for a $1,000 to win feature. Duck River and Winchester Raceway Park Manager Jason Hubbell has worked tirelessly to get the division added to the line-up. "We are very excited to have the Nesmith Street Stock division added onto our lineup for 2017 and look forward to a great year with several special events planned for the division" stated Hubbell who is busy preparing for this weekend's Winterfest events. "We are excited about the addition of Duck River and Winchester to the lineup of sanctioned speedways for 2017. Some of the best racing occurs in our Street Stock division, and the area around those tracks is loaded with superb talent which when coupled with the great race tracks will make something exciting for fans and drivers," stated NeSmith Racing Series Director Adam Stewart.
