NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 2 Preview

Cartersville, GA - Competitors now have Week #2 of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division in their sights as the Weekly Racing season gets the second week of action underway. Week 1 saw a condensed schedule as many tracks were either not yet getting their seasons started, or Ma Nature had other plans. Week 2 will see several venues open up their 2017 seasons, and with that we are excited to see familiar faces and new faces in victory lane.

Week 2 Preview Highlights:

Several tracks will hold their first events for the 2017 points season - Hattiesburg, Magnolia, Cotton Bowl, ECM, Flomaton, Jackson, LA 36, Talladega, Thunderhill, and Duck River.
Drivers that competed in Week 1 competition will hold an early advantage over those that will just get their seasons started in Week 2, but as the season progresses those points will tighten.
Only a drivers' highest finish during a Week of Weekly Racing action will count toward their total.
The long 27 week season will see new faces come into play for the top spots, and many familiar competitors will also return as the season heats up.
Drivers will count their best 14 finishes over the 27 week Weekly Racing Season.
