NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 3 Preview

Cartersville, GA - Week 3 of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division season is on the horizon and drivers begin to settle in for the 27 week season. A host of events are on the schedule for Week 3 that will get started on Friday night April 7th.

Week 3 Preview Highlights:

  • Ronnie Newsome has used consistency to establish an early season lead as he pursues the 2017 National Championship. With his home track of Needmore Speedway setting silent for Week 3, he will have to venture to another sanctioned speedway to keep that lead.
  • Camden Motor Speedway in Camden, TN will open up their 2017 Racing Season during Week 3 where competitors will compete across three divisions sanctioned by NeSmith Racing.
  • LA 36 Speedway will be back in action after their future was uncertain following a potential sale of the property. The current promoters have secured the remainder of the 2017 season with hopes to purchase - all racers and fans are encouraged to continue to support the Lacombe, LA oval that has seen great action so far in 2017.
  • Drivers will count their best 14 finishes over the 27 week Weekly Racing Season for their final points in conquest for the National Championship.

NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Late Model Sportsman Week 3 Preview

Cartersville, GA - With the first ever week of competition for the newly formed NeSmith Late Model Sportsman Division in the books, competitors will now look ahead to the Week 2 and the season ahead. Some tracks were met with resistance from Ma Nature during Week 1 and will be looking to get their 2017 points season started during Week 2 competition.

Week 3 Highlights:

  • Camden Speedway in Camden, TN will host their Season Opener event this Saturday night where they will host racing action in all three of the NeSmith Racing sanctioned Weekly Divisions.
  • Eric Mazingo will battle with Bill Moffett early in the season for the points lead as the two drivers look to stay on top of the standings.
  • Solid car counts for the first ever season of the NeSmith Late Model Sportsman Division give good indications of the excitement building around the newest division under NeSmith Racing's banner.
  • Drivers will count their best 14 finishes over the 27 week Weekly Racing Season to determine the inaugural National Champion for the NeSmith Late Model Sportsman.
