Woodstock, GA - On Saturday night June 3rd history will be made at one of the most storied race tracks in the country, Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA as both the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series as well as the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series will make an appearance for the Dixie Doubleheader as part of the School’s Out Bash event. The 3/8ths mile clay track owned and operated by the beloved Swims family opened in 1968, and has received numerous awards since including induction into the National Dirt Racing Hall of Fame will play host to the two "sister series" as they make a first time ever appearance on the same night at the "Home of the Champions".

Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model drivers such as Ronnie Johnson, Jake Knowles, Tim Busha, Devin Dixon, Austin Smith, and a host of others will all make their way to the "Home of the Champions" to battle for the season ending National Championship and the $10,000 payday that accompanies that honor. Cruise with the Campions Rookie of the Year contender Devin Dixon currently leads the national points, however Austin Smith, a regular at Dixie Speedway, trails closely behind and will look to use the home field advantage to try and take over the points lead.  Just eight points separate the two drivers and with only six events currently remaining until the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series visits Rome Speedway for the one hundred lap, $10,000 to win season finale, the championship is still up for grabs.

In the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series drivers such as Ahnna Parkhurst, Brandon Williams, Colton Horner, Core Hedgecock, Grant Garrison, Peter Hazzard, and TJ Brittain will all make their way to Woodstock, Georgia for the first ever appearance by the NeSmith Dirt Late Models at the historic speedway. Hedgecock currently has a solid hold on the points after winning two of the first four NeSmith Dirt Late Model events; however, Ahnna Parkhurst will be riding a wave of momentum coming off of a win at Dixie’s sister track, Rome Speedway on Sunday May 28th.

The fun and excitement for the School's Out Bash weekend won’t be limited to the racing action, as School Bus Monster Truck rides, Full Racing Program, and the always exciting Spectator Races will also be on the card for Saturday June 3rd. With each adult grandstand or pit pass purchased, one free ride will be issued for the Monster Truck Ride. The pits will open at 4 P.M., with the grandstands opening at 5 P.M. Come on out to see some of the best drivers from across the  the South East go head to head in battle at the world famous "Home of the Champions", Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia.
