Salute to America Nationals Schedule Update with NeSmith Street Stocks Added Each Night July 1st-3rd

(CARTERSVILLE, GEORGIA) – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series is prepared to roar into the hot summer racing months with "America's Leader in Racing". One of the marquee annual motorsports gatherings is NeSmith Racing's way of celebrating the July 4th season with the "Salute to America” Nationals. The best of the best competitors in pro late models will battle it out during the holiday weekend putting on a show not to miss as the quest for the championship moves into July.

The events for the 2017 season are scheduled from Saturday July 1st until Monday July 3rd in the great state of Alabama. In addition to the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Models the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stocks Division will also be in action for this triple header paying $1,000 to win at each event.

It kicks off on Saturday July 1st at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, Alabama. The event on the 3/8th mile oval will pay $2,500 to the winner plus $1,000 to win for the Mississippi Street Stock Series/NeSmith Street Stocks. On Sunday July 2nd the series will then make the trip to "The Playground of Power" the ½ mile East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama with another $2,500 to win event which will also include the NeSmith Street Stocks for $1,000 to win plus local racing action and one of the BIGGEST fireworks display in the area. The final leg of the "Salute to America" Nationals will be held at one of the longest tenured NeSmith Racing venues - "The Hornet's Nest" Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on Monday night July 3rd. The event on the 1/3rd mile high banked oval will pay $2,000 to win for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Models and will finish up with another $1,000 to win for the NeSmith Street Stocks. One of the unique aspects of the "Salute to America" Nationals weekend triple header is the racing will be contested on 3 very different racing configurations – 3/8th, 1/2, and 1/3 mile which is the equivalent of running an intermediate, superspeedway, and short track in NASCAR terminology. It will be very exciting to see as the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Models and NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stocks celebrate the Independence Holiday weekend with the triple header shootout "Salute to America" Nationals July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
