NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series 2017 Week 13 Round Up

Cartersville, GA - The "Mississippi Hustler" Hunter Carroll holds on to the top points position in the NeSmith Weekly Racing Series National point standings after Week 13 competition. The Columbus, MS driver leads Louisiana competitor Kody Barber as the midway point to the 2017 season arrives. Drivers that have gotten a later start to the season will begin to work their way into the top 20 as Carroll and Barber continue to rack up good finishes in hopes of remaining at the top of the board through the 27 week season.

  • Bronson Berry was the winner on Saturday night at Jerry Russell's Camden Motor Speedway in Camden, TN.
  • Flyin' Ryan King picked up the win Saturday at "The Hornet's Nest" Talladega Short Track.
  • Seth McCormack parked his #s4 machine victory lane again at "Alabama's Action Track" - North Alabama Speedway on Saturday night.
  • Ben Garner took his Bobby Garner owned #00 machine to victory lane at ClayHill Speedway in Atwood, TN on Friday night.
  • Josh Leonard continues his strong season with another win Sunday at Lexington Raceway in Lexington, NE.
  • Greg Wilhite was the winner during Saturday night racing action at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL.
  • The "Vossburg Vandal" Scott Dedwylder was the NeSmith Late Model winner during "Clash at the Mag" action on Saturday at Magnolia Motor Speedway.
  • Shane Riner dominated South Georgia action during Week 13 picking up Friday night's win at Oglethorpe Speedway Park and following that with a Saturday night win at Cochran Motor Speedway.
  • Former NeSmith Weekly Racing Series National Champion Noah Daspit picked up the Todd Corkern Memorial win on Saturday night at LA 36 Speedway in Lacombe, LA.
  • "The IceMan" Delbert Smith piloted his new Trak-Star Edge Race Car to the Make-up feature win during Friday night action at Salina Speedway in Salina, KS and followed that up with a Sunday NCRA win at 81 Speedway in Park City, KS.
  • Not to be outdone by his Dad, Daniel Smith pulled off the Week 13 win Friday night at Salina Speedway in Salina, KS.
  • Ken Cartwright was victorious on Saturday night at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL during NeSmith Panhandle Challenge Series competition.

NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 13 of 2017 Round Up

Cartersville, GA - Lee Ray remains the "top dog" in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division National points as he held onto his lead after week 13 action completed. Josh Tomlin sits just 8 points behind the Columbus, MS driver and with Week 14 approaching the points will begin to take shape and the contenders for the 2017 National Championship will begin to move towards the top 10 in the standings.

  • Jimmy Nolen took home the checkered flag at two West Tennessee tracks with a Friday night win at Clayhill Speedway in Atwood and Saturday night victory at Camden Motor Speedway in Camden.
  • Anthony Gordon bested Texas hot shoe Rob Slott to pick up the Saturday night victory at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX.
  • Gordy Scarbrough took his #27 machine to East Alabama Motor Speedway's Victory Lane during Saturday night action.
