NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 15 of 2017 Round Up

Cartersville, GA - The completion of Week 15 brings about a change at the top of the National Point standings as Missouri's Josh Tomlin takes over the point lead from Mississippi driver Lee Ray. But the season is FAR from over, and along with Ray there are many drivers still in contention to take home the 2017 NeSmith Performance Parts

Street Stock Division National Championship.

  • Richie Berryhill picked up a Friday night win at Clayhill Speedway in Atwood, TN.
  • "Dr. Dirt" Johnny Stokes picked up Friday night's Mississippi Street Stock Series win at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS.
  • Lee Ray was Monday night's Week 8 Make-up race winner at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS.
  • AC Parker Jr. was Friday night's winner on the gumbo at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS.
  • New point leader Josh Tomlin picked up 3 wins during Week 15 competition which helped him move into the points lead: Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway; $1,000 to win Sunday night at East Alabama Motor Speedway; and $1,000 to win Monday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.
  • Anthony Gordon was the big winner on Saturday night at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas.
  • David Earl Gentry grabbed the $1,000 payday on Saturday night at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN.
  • Todd Robinson parked his #3 machine in North Alabama Speedway victory lane in Tuscumbia, AL on Saturday night.
  • Trevor Woodard was victorious in Saturday night action at his home track Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN.

NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series 2017 Week 15 Round Up

Cartersville, GA - Hunter Carroll maintains the NeSmith Weekly Racing Series National points lead after 15 weeks of action. Several drivers are approaching the 14 weeks of competition that will start allowing them to replace their worst finish, and with that we will see some drivers begin to work their way to the top of the standings. Those drivers already there will also be dropping their worst finishes and improve their totals as the second half of the season begins.
