INDIANAPOLIS, IN - NeSmith Racing Officials announced the eight-race Winter Shootout Schedule for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series today at the 30th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show.  The eight-race series will be contested at four different race tracks over a three-month period.

               The 27th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will host the opening race of the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout on January 5-7 with a $3,000-to-win main event.

               The NeSmith Late Model Winter Shootout will then move to Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL for the richest weekend of racing the Chevrolet Performance 604 Circle Track Engine powered dirt late models will see in 2018 with the 14th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race Weekend on February 21-24.

               The action at Bubba Raceway Park begins on February 21 with a Practice Night, followed by a pair of $2,000-to-win races on February 22 and February 23.  The $10,000-to-win, 100-lap 14th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race will be on February 24.

               Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN will return to the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series schedule with a pair of Winter Shootout races on March 9 and March 10 called the Tennessee Tip-Off. 

The March 9 race will pay $2,000-to-win and the March 10 race will pay $2,500-to-win.  This weekend of events will be run in conjunction with the World of Outlaw Late Model races at Smoky Mountain Speedway.

               Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA will host the Cochran Clash, a pair of NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout on March 23 and March 24.  The March 23 race will pay $2,000-to-win, and the March 24 race will close the Winter Shootout with a $4,000-to-win event.
