SOUTHERN ALL STAR DIRT RACING SERIES PR#8 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Southern All Stars Make First Of Season At Talladega Short Track FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series event number six will take place this Saturday night May 6th at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL., for the annual NASCAR Weekend events that will feature the Southern All Stars in a 40 lap $4,000 to win event, along with the Nesmith Crate Late models and a full racing program. There will also be a unsanctioned super late model event on Friday night May 5th paying $2,000 to win. Coming out of last week’s Smoky Mt Speedway event, Bo Shirley of Gadsden, AL., has the top spot in the series points as he passed leader Casey Roberts who was not in attendance, Shirley now has a 18 point lead over Roberts going into the Saturday night event. Third place currently is also the current Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie of the year leader Austin Horton of Newnan, GA., who is 20 points out of the top spot, with T J Reaid of Acworth, GA., and Tristan Sealy of Moultrie, GA., rounding out the top five in points, all of these drivers are expected to be in action. Other drivers that have indicated their intentions on being at TST this weekend include Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN., Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, TN., J R Moseley of Columbus, GA., Gar Dickson of Flintstone, GA., Michael Page of Villa Rice, GA.., Brandon Kinzer of Allen, KY., and Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, GA.
