SOUTHERN ALL STAR DIRT RACING SERIES PR#18 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Southern All Stars Set For RETURN To Thunderhill Raceway FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series returns to the Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN., for a 40 lap $4,000 to win super late model event that will feature top regional stars from across the area to battle it out on the high banked ¼ mile oval. This will be the second of three Southern All Stars events at the Ricky Spurgeon operated facility and if the last race is any indication track conditions should be ultra smooth as Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, TN., took the win on front of the hometown crowd as he, Dane Dacus and Riley Hickman put on great show for the near capacity crowd, all three of these drivers are expected be in action. Current Southern All Stars and Cruise with the Champions Dirt on Dirt points leader Austin Horton of Newnan, GA., who’s last race at Thunderhill missed qualifying due to a flat won B Main and then charged his way to a fourth place finish on a track that he had never seen till then. Horton is ready for his return to the Tennessee oval as he is looking forward to his return. Second place in points is T J Reaid of Acworth, GA., who sat on outside pole at Senoia last week only to have mechanical problems knock him out of the race on the first lap. Reaid still is in second spot in points as he lost the points that he gained from Smoky Mt event. Third place is Tristan Sealy of Moultrie, GA., along with Horton & Reaid he too had never seen Thunderhill until the May visit and now all three are ready to return. Fourth is no stranger to the Thunderhill area fans as Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN., is fourth in series points and is only 140 out of first so a good run by Hickerson will throw him back into he mix and he has several wins at the west Tennessee facility. Pit gates will open at 3 pm with hot laps at 6:30pm with racing to follow. Thunderhill Raceway information can be found at www.thunderhillracewaypark.com
