Dustin Strand Rolls to Second Win of 2018
River Cities Speedway and Devil’s Lake Speedway Up Next


Grand Forks, North Dakota (06/05/18) – Dustin Strand only entered one event over the weekend, but he made the most of the opportunity by piloting his RHR Brew #71 Keewatin Truck Service/ Millenium Late Model to the victory at River Cities Speedway.

“Overall it was a good night for our team. We had a fast car, kept our nose clean, and I got to end the night in Victory Lane with my family. You can’t ask for much more than that,” Strand said. “We’ll look to add three more wins to the total this coming weekend.”

Behind the wheel of the Q&Z Plumbing & Heating #71 Super Late Model, Dustin Strand visited River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) on Friday evening, where he competed in the Weekly Racing Series Event.

Passing three cars in his 8-lap heat race, Strand landed a third-place finish, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the feature.

Strand would jump to the lead at the drop of the green flag in the finale and went on to lead wire-to-wire en route to his second victory of the 2018 season.

Mike Balcaen, Bill Mooney, Joey Pederson, and Brad Seng completed the Top-5 finishers in the 20-lap affair.

The upcoming weekend will find Dustin returning to River Cities Speedway on Friday night, where he’ll take both his Late Model and Modified into battle. On Saturday evening he’ll take his Late Model into competition at Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota).

Rodney Sanders Returns Home for Route 66 Motor Speedway Victory
Sunflower State Showdown on Tap for this Week


Happy, Texas (06/05/18) – Rodney Sanders enjoyed a grand homecoming over the weekend. The chauffer of the Wichita Tank Racing #20 DriveWFX.com/ Swan Energy MB Customs/ Hatfield Racing Engine Modified picked up the win at Amarillo’s Route 66 Motor Speedway.

It was his second win of the season at the clay oval and his second win overall.

“It was another fun night of racing at the place where I cut my teeth,” Sanders commented. “We were back home so we thought we would go out and try some stuff with the car, and it all worked out perfectly. Thanks goes out to everyone who supports my team.”

Behind the wheel of the Wichita Tank Racing #20 Open Wheel Modified, Rodney Sanders visited Route 66 Motor Speedway (Amarillo, Texas) on Saturday evening to compete in the USRA Weekly Racing Series Event.

In a field of 17 cars, Sanders locked his spot into the feature with a heat race victory.

Reeling in his second win of the season in the finale, Rodney topped Phillip Houston and Dee Gossett in the 20-lapper.

Rodney will be back on the dusty trail with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) this weekend with the three-night Sunflower State Showdown.

Action opens on Thursday night at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kansas) before moving to Dodge City Raceway Park (Dodge City, Kansas) on Friday evening. The weekend draws to a close on Saturday night at Salina Speedway (Salina, Kansas).
