USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars set for “Red Dirt Rumble” double-header on Friday at
Swainsboro Raceway and Saturday at Cochran Motor Speedway 

Atlanta, GA – June 20, 2018 - The United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters 22nd annual Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters “rocks on” this coming weekend in Georgia for the USCS ”Red Dirt Rumble” double-header. Both nights are set for competition at two speedways in the Middle Georga area a little over an one hour apart.  The Nationally prominent winged sprint car series visits the confines of the Swainsboto Raceway’s 3/8-mile red clay oval in Swainsboro, Georgia for Round #1 of the Red Dirt Rumble on Friday, June 22nd. On the following night, Saturday, June 23rd, the USCS sprint car drivers then headline racing action in the Round #2 final at the historic Cochran Motor Speedway 3/8 mile oval in Cochran, Georgia. Each event pays $2000 to the winner with $4300 possible for a sweep of the Hoosier Speed Dash and main event each night.

Entries from seven or more states are expected for both nights that include drivers from as far away as Arkansas, The expected entries include a number of multi-time USCS sprint car winners including the defending USCS National Champion, Jordon Mallett from Greenbrier, Arkanas who has won three times this season. Mallett currently leads the USCS National point standings.
Two-time series National Champion, Morgan Turpen from Cordova, Tennessee will join Mallett at the top of the entry list. She had nine series wins in 2017 to lead the series win column. Another potent entry is 11-time USCS National Champion and Turpen’s team-mate, Terry Gray, from Bartlett, Tennessee , who s a previous winner at at the Cochran Motor Speedway.

The USCS sprint cars are joined on the busy racing card by a full program of late model and stock car racing each night as well, to create two action-packed nights of dirt oval track racing action. Spectator grandstand gates open each night at 5:00 p.m. and racing kicks off after hot laps at 8:00 p.m. each night.
