Things started out wild as the Crate/Limited Late Model division took to the track. Red flag on lap three when caution came out for Donald Estes then David Young went off turn three into the tires. He was transported to the hospital with back pain.

Third place finisher, Jessie Springer had to take up the rear of the field due to being too light at the scales.

Heat #2 (WILD)

On first restart Brian Vandygriff crowded Michael Estes … sending Estes to pits with a flat. Estes got back on before the green but was put to the back for speeding through the pits. On lap one.. caution Tim Hobby over the back and Brian Vandygriff went to rear for jumping on restart. Black flag displayed to Vandygriff on lap four for hitting Jeremy Raybourn; then on lap seven Vandygriff went off turn two, got out of his car and starting walking around the track while race still going. Unsportsmanlike conduct at pit entrance earned Vandygriff … time OFF!!!

Jones had to roll back one row for jumping the start.

FEATURE TIME!!

Trevor Woodard led green to checkered in the Open Wheel Mini five –minute caution free race.

Brad Skinner also led green to checkered for the win in the Crate/Limited Late Model division. Caution on lap five when Donald Johns spun in turn two. Lap six caution when Mark Dowdy stalled in turn two after getting into the wall. On lap nine Mycal Newton spun in turn two then on restart Johns had to take up the rear for jumping the start. Lap fourteen caution for debris then on lap fifteen the final caution came when Newton and Estes both got into the wall.

I mentioned in the Modified heat it was WILD …. Well it still was for the feature!!
1st restart .. spin in two; 2nd restart .. Randall Himes spun into J.J. Hall in turn two. Jimmy Woodard led lap one then spun in turn two. Caution turned RED on lap six when Randall Himes went off in three into the tires then second red on that lap when Hall spun in four and collected a lot of cars. Steve Yocom led laps two thru fifteen for the win.

Eddie Rhinehart led the first twelve laps of the Open Wheel feature but it would be Steven Holcomb thirteen thru twenty for the win.

Daniel Kelley led flag to flag for the win in the Street Stock class. The only caution came on lap seven when Cheryl Shrader got into David Lewis in turn two.

Tommy Wallace led from the drop of the green in the Mini Stock class and looked like he was headed for winners circle as he led thru lap thirteen; but Dillon Scott had other plans as he led the final two to take the win.
