October 11th, 2007 - Billy attended Malden Speedway on Friday night and was presented with a 5th place tropy for the season ending points in the Crate Late Model division. Billy is feeling better every day, and hopes to be back in action very soon.

September 30th, 2007 - Due to some personal reasons, Billy will be taking the rest of the 2007 season off from racing, but looks forward to returning to action in 2008.

August 11th, 2007 - Billy had a great night at Malden Speedway last night. He led the first 17 laps of the feature before Scott Tracer slipped by to take the win with a few laps left. Hopkins came home with a strong 2nd place finish. Billy recorded a 3rd place finish on Saturday night at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

August 5th, 2007 - On Friday night, Billy was in action at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri where he came away with a 3rd place finish in the Crate Late Model feature. On Saturday night, Billy enterd his Crate Late Model into a MSRA Super Late Model event at Poinsett County Raceway in Harrisburg, Arkansas where he finished a strong 16th.

July 31st, 2007 - Billy raced at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on Saturday night, but things didn't go so well. Early in the feature Hopkins was taken out by another driving ending his night.

July 15th, 2007 - Billy finished 5th in the featur event at Malden Speedway on Friday night. Billy will be out of town this week, so he won't be racing anywhere this weekend.

July 8th, 2007 - Billy competed with the FasTrak Late Model Series over the weekend and came away with two strong finishes. On Friday night, Hopkins picked up an 11th place finish at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri, and on Saturday night, Billy finished 10th at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

July 2nd, 2007 - Billy will be competing with the FasTrak Crate Late Model Series at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri on Friday night and at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on Saturday night.

June 24th, 2007 - Billy raced at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas last night, and he came away with his first ever Crate Late Model feature win. Hopkins won his heat race and led the first part of the feature before getting caught up in traffic and falling back to second. On the white flag lap, he caught the leader and passed him in turn one en route to the win.

June 17th, 2007 - Bill broke a rack in the steering and finished 7th in the Crate Late Model feature last night at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri

June 16th, 2007 - Billy finishd last 4th last night at ATPR in Benton, Missouri in the Super Late Model feature.

June 10th, 2007 - Billy entered his Crate Late Model into an MSRA Super Late Model event last night at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Despite obviously having less horsepower than the competitors in the Super Late Models, Billy had a strong run, but missed the starting grid for the main event by one position.

June 3rd, 2007 - Billy competed at Malden Speedway on Friday night and came away with a 5th place finish. On Saturday night, Hopkins finished a strong 4th in the main event.

May 31st, 2007 - Billy will be racing at Malden Speedway on Friday night and at Poplar Bluff Speedway on Saturday night. His son, Chase, is going to practice in the car after the races.

May 27th, 2007 - Billy finished 6th in the Crate Late Model feature at Poplar Bluff Speedway on Saturday night.

May 26th, 2007 - Billy will be in action this Saturday night at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri in his Crate Late Model.

May 20th, 2007 - Bill raced at Riverside International Speedway last night. He finished 6th in his heat race and finished 4th in the feature event.

May 13th, 2007 - Billy had a tough night at Riverside International Speedway last night. Hopkins won his heat race, but his tires punched less than the requirement in post race inspection, so he was disqualified. In the feature, Hopkins was caught up in a wreck that resulted in heavy damage to his car.

April 29th, 2007 - Billy raced at Malden Speedway on Friday night, and came away with a 5th place finish in his Crate Late Model.

April 27th, 2007 - Billy will be in action this Friday night at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri.

April 23rd, 2007 - Billy competed at Malden Speedwa on Friday night, and endured two flat tires to a 5th place finish. On Saturday night, Billy raced at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, and finished 3rd in the feature.

April 16th, 2007 - After several weeks off due to Mother Nature, Billy will try to return to action this weekend with a pair of events. On Friday night, he will be in action at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri in his Crate Late Model. On Saturday night, he will be in action at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas in his Crate Late Model.

April 2nd, 2007 - Billy will be in action this Friday night at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri.

April 1st, 2007 - Riverside International Speedway rained out on Saturday night, so Billy did not get to race this weekend.

March 26th, 2007 - Billy kicked off his season on Saturday night at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri. He came away with a ninth place finish against a strong field of cars. This Saturday night, he will be in action at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas.

March 13th, 2007 - Billy is preparing to practice his GRT this Saturday, March 17th at Malden Speedway. Next weekend, March 23rd - 24th, Billy will be in action at Malden Speedway for the Malden 200. The Photos section has been updated with pictures of the 2007 Crate Late Model.

December 12th, 2006 - Due to an illness in the family Billy will not be able to compete at this weekend's event at East Bay Raceway. Billy will be looking to get ready for a strong 2007.

November 16th, 2006 - Billy has made the decision to compete at one more event in 2006. The event will be to the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series National Championship Race at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL on December 14.  Billy is one of 84 drivers invited to compete in the event. The invitees include the top six point drivers from both Weekly Racing Series Regions, and the top six point drivers from each track. The event will feature a 40-lap $3,000-to-win StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series National Championship Race and will be held in conjunction with the 100-lap $10,000-to-win 2nd Annual StormPay.com Crate Racin' USA World Championship Race at East Bay Raceway Park on December 15-16.

October 23rd, 2006 - The 2006 season has wrapped up for Billy Hopkins. Thanks to all of the fans and sponsors, who supported the team in 2006. See ya in 2007!!
