Last-Lap Pass Lifts Hubbard to Georgetown Victory

SEAFORD, Del. (07/30/20) – Austin Hubbard picked up his second win of the season on Friday night.

Hubbard parked the Karl and Melanie Klink-owned No.49 Sussex Carpentry/ Atlantic Elevators/ Bunting and Bertrand/ Indian River Land Co/ Torch by Leo Late Model in Victory Lane at Georgetown Speedway, Georgetown, Delaware.

“It was another great night for us. Thanks to Karl and Melanie for the opportunity to drive their car,” Hubbard said. “They have a top-notch team and they all worked very hard for this one. Thanks to everyone for their support. I’m looking forward to the next time.”

In a field of 19 RUSH Late Models, Austin secured his spot into the main event with a third-place finish in his heat. After sliding ahead of Amanda Robinson for second near the halfway point of the 20-lap feature, Hubbard set his sights on race-long leader Matt Hill.

Overtaking Hill on the final lap on the bottom, Austin Hubbard soared to his second win of the season over Hill, Amanda Robinson, Joe Warren, and Trevor Collins. He earned a $1,000 payday for the triumph.

Ashton Winger Grabs Third Win of the Season at I-55
World of Outlaws at Kokomo, Indiana Next


HAMPTON, Ga. (07/30/20) – A weekend off from the grueling demands of the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series didn’t stop Ashton Winger from getting in the driver’s seat.

Winger used the opportunity to enter a weekly racing event at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) and put his Johnny Doan Plumbing No. 12 E-Z-GO/ Franklin Enterprises/ Keyser Manufacturing/ Rocket Chassis/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model in Victory Lane.

“We had a great car on Saturday night and thankfully was able to get it done,” said Winger. “During these uncertain times, we have to race every opportunity we can. Thanks to everyone who makes this possible, especially all of our great sponsors for their continued support.”

Marching forward five spots in his heat race to score a second-place finish behind Rusty Griffaw, Winger locked into the pole position for the A-Main. Holding off Jeff Herzog, Ashton streaked to his third win of the season over Herzog, Griffaw, Tim Ratajczyk, and Kyle Stolzer.

Garrett Alberson Leads Flag-to-Flag at Sycamore Speedway

SHREVEPORT, La. (07/30/20) – Garrett Alberson notched his first win of the season on Saturday at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Ill.

Aboard the Ken & Beth Roberts-owned No. 59 Bader Construction/ Capri College/ Black Diamond Chassis Late Model, Alberson led every lap en route to the $4,000 payday.

Garrett Alberson invaded Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday night to take part in the 10th Annual Jr. Kimler Memorial. In a field of 18 cars, Alberson followed up the 11th fastest time in his qualifying group with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Starting the $3,000-to-win A-Main in ninth, Garrett marched forward three spots to place sixth.

The following night at Sycamore Speedway, Garrett earned the pole position for the A-Main via preliminary events. Leading flag-to-flag, Alberson soared to his first win of the season over Ryan Unzicker, Jeremiah Hurst, Taylor Scheffler, and Rich Bell. He earned a $4,000 payday for the triumph.

On Sunday afternoon Alberson stopped at the Bullring at RICo Fairgrounds (East Moline, Ill.) piloting the Subzero Motorsports No. 140 Modified. After charging forward four spots in his heat race to place fourth, Mother Nature wiped out the A-Main before the 20-lapper was able to get underway.

Logan Roberson Rules Lee Stultz Memorial at Winchester
Prepares for Mountaineer State Doubleheader

WAYNESBORO, Va. (07/30/20) – Logan Roberson his Wynbridge Inc. No. 17 RBS Auto Sales/ BTS Towing Service/ Rocket Chassis Super Late Model to his second win of the season on Saturday.

Roberson earned $3,000 following a dominating performance in the Lee Stultz Memorial at Winchester (Va.) Speedway.

"We've always called this place home and to get a Late Model win here is an awesome feeling," Roberson said. "Everybody on this team helps to keep this car going and I wouldn't be here without them."

Roberson kicked off his busy weekend on Thursday with the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals Series at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tenn.). Roberson followed up the sixth fastest time in his group with a 10-lap consolation victory. Starting the $3,500-to-win A-Main in 11th, Logan was an early retiree from the 35-lap affair on the 11th lap.

The following night at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. for a $10,053 top prize, Logan posted a third place finish in his heat race, which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the main event. Unable to get any momentum going in the 53-lapper, Roberson withdrew from competition on lap 30.

On Saturday afternoon, Roberson headed to his home track of Winchester Speedway. After topping the 18-car field in time trials, Logan cruised to a heat race win, locking him into the second-starting position for the feature.

Leading wire-to-wire, Roberson went unchallenged in the main event to cross the finish line by nearly a straightaway over Dale Hollidge, Tyler Bare, Justin Weaver, and Jonathan DeHaven.
