Bernheisel Racing Set to Embark on 2019 Campaign
Shifts Focus to Super Late Model Competition Exclusively

Jonestown, Pennsylvania (03/14/19) – Bernheisel Racing is set to embark on the 2019 campaign. The team lifts the lid on the brand-new season this Saturday night at Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway. Not only does the team have fresh Lazer Chassis and fresh engines at their disposal, but they also have a new focus for the upcoming season.

“For 2019 we’ve decided to focus solely on the Super Late Model ranks,” team driver, Bryan Bernheisel noted. “The parity in the Super Late Model division is tougher than its ever been before, and to compete at the top level on a nightly basis, you need to put all of your focus into the division. We’ve got top-notch equipment and an experienced team behind us this year, so I know that the sky is the limit on what we can accomplish.”

Fresh off his first Super Late Model Track Championship at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) in 2018, Bryan is ready to hit the ground running in 2019. He has a pair of Lazer Chassis equipped with Clements Racing Engines in his arsenal to start the year. Plans for the year, include defending the Selinsgrove Speedway Championship as well as competing for the titles with the Route 35 Mini Series and the KRS Challenge Series. When not competing in these events, he’ll sprinkle in a mixture of regional and national events.

The patriarch of the Bernheisel Racing stable, Jim Bernheisel, will contest a limited schedule in a Lazer Chassis Super Late Model that is powered by a Craiger Race Engine.

The team will also see their traditional No. 119 entries rebranded with a familiar sponsor for 2019.

“The folks at One Potato Two Potato brand have been staunch supporters of ours for the past several seasons, and we’ve carried the One Potato Two Potato logos proudly on our race cars,” Jim Bernheisel commented. “For 2019, this sponsorship will be rebranded with the original Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips prominently displayed on our hot rods. Much like our own company, Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips is a family-owned company. To have the support of a company that has been family owned for three generations means a lot to us.”

Bernheisel Racing would also like to let everyone know they now have a two-seater Late Model available for rental. For more information on this thrilling opportunity, please contact Jim at 717-865-3119.

Bryan Bernheisel will stomp the loud pedal for the first time in 2019 this Saturday at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania). The historic facility is set to kick off its 2019 campaign, and Bryan will be looking to grab the win in the opener.

Reutzel Races to World of Outlaws Top Ten at Tulare – Chico and Stockton on Tap for this Weekend

Lonnie Wheatley, CLUTE, Texas (March 14, 2019) – After the opening night of last weekend’s NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car double at Tulare, California’s Thunderbowl Raceway fell victim to rain, Aaron Reutzel put together another strong outing by racing to a top-ten finish atop the 1/3-mile clay oval on Saturday night.

Reutzel had to work for it, rallying from the 14th starting position to post a ninth-place finish aboard the Baughman-Reutzel Motorsports No. 87 Sprint Car.

The California adventures continue for the Folkens Brothers Trucking/Dissolvalloy Downhole Revolution Triple-X team with World of Outlaws events at Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday night and then the Stockton Dirt Track on Saturday night.

While Reutzel took in last year’s World of Outlaws event at Stockton, Friday’s card will mark his first visit to Silver Dollar Speedway.

“I haven’t been there, but I’ve watched a lot of video and it looks like it should be right up our alley,” Reutzel said of Silver Dollar Speedway.

Reutzel carries confidence into Stockton as well.  “There was a lot of rain leading into it last year, so it was kind of rough,” Reutzel recalls.  “We were going good though until a left rear shock broke.”

Last Saturday’s event at Thunderbowl Raceway found Reutzel timing in tenth-quick aboard the Precision Catalyst/Hollywood Blasting & Coating/Beard Equipment entry before posting a fourth-place finish in heat race action to secure the 14th starting position for the feature.

From there, Reutzel began making his way forward in the closing rounds aboard the Nattress Construction/Momentum Racing Suspensions entry, nipping Donny Schatz at the line for the ninth-place finish on the night.

“We’ve been just a little too tight all year, we’re making gains on it though and I think we’re about where we need to be,” Reutzel explained.  “We maintained most of the way at Tulare, then when the fuel burned off enough I was finally able to move in and out the way I needed to.  We really got going with about ten to go, we just have to get dialed in a little better to get going sooner.”

Ten nights into the Sprint Car season aboard the BRM No. 87, Reutzel and crew look to build upon their progress this weekend.

“We started with two different kind of racetracks in Florida that don’t really apply to anywhere else you go,” Reutzel says.  “We’re building our notes and we keep making gains, we’re getting close.”

The team will reach the midway portion of this month’s World of Outlaws California swing with this weekend’s pair of events at Chico and Stockton.

2019 Quick Stats:  12 races, 5 top-tens.

Next Up:  World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Chico, California’s Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday night and the Stockton (CA) Dirt Track on Saturday night.  Those unable to attend in person can call all the action live via PPV at www.dirtvision.com.
