Jesse Lowe Dashes to Crossville American All-Star Crate Win
Increases 2019-Win Total to 16
Crossville, Tennessee (8/12/19) – Jesse Lowe thundered to his 16th win of the season on Friday night at Crossville Speedway. The American Crate All-Star Series victory rewarded him with a $2,000 payday for his efforts in his Xtreme Pressure Washing No. 5j Gondolas Pizza and Steakhouse/ CVR Race Car Crate Late Model.
“I had one heck of a race with Aaron [Guinn] for the win on Friday night at Crossville. He did a great job and really made me work for it. Thankfully, I was able to edge him at the line to get the win,” Lowe noted. “Saturday night at Tazewell was a bit of a different story. I felt like a pinball because I had a lot of guys bouncing off of me. We sustained considerable damage during the feature, but I was able to limp home to a fifth-place finish. Then the top-two finishers got disqualified in tech, so somehow, someway we got a third-place finish when it was all said and done. We’ve got a lot of repairs to do on this car before we hit the track again, but overall I’m still proud of what we accomplished this weekend.”
On Friday evening Jesse Lowe invaded Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee), where he was piloting his Xtreme Pressure Washing No. 5j Crate Late Model in the American Crate All-Star Series sanctioned, Hey Jack 40. In a field of 22 cars, Jesse followed up the fifth-fastest time in qualifying with a fourth-place finish in the dash.
Tracking down race-leader Aaron Guinn late in the race, Lowe pulled off a last-lap pass to capture his 16th win of the season and a $2,000 paycheck. Guinn, Jake Teague, Andy Ogle, and Kyle Courtney followed him across the finish line.
On Saturday night at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee), competing in a field of 14 United Championship Racing Alliance (UCRA) entries, Lowe locked his spot into the $2,500-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat race.
After crossing the line in the fifth position in the finale, the top two finishers were disqualified, which elevated Jesse to a third-place finish behind Michael Courtney and Kenny Kizzar with Ryan Carey and Rod Carroll rounding out the Top-5.
Jesse continues to lead the latest UCRA point standings. For more results from these events, please visit www.AmericanCrateAllStarSeries.com and www.UCRARacing.com .
