Midwest Sheet Metal Becomes the Leader in COMP Cams Super Dirt Series

Beebe, Arkansas (04/13/17) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil is proud to welcome Springfield, Missouri’s Midwest Sheet Metal as a new marketing partner for 2017.

The prominent sheet metal provider will sponsor the newly-created Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man Award. Via the promotion, Midwest Sheet Metal will provide a neon fluorescent-orange spoiler for the series point leader at each series event. In addition, they will pay a $1,000 bonus to the point’s champion at the end of the year.

Two-time defending CCSDS champ and current point leader, Jack Sullivan will debut the spoiler this Saturday at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas).

“Chris [Davis] and the folks at Midwest Sheet Metal really go out of their way to support dirt track racing, and to have them join our tour as a marketing partner is a big honor,” said CCSDS CEO, Chris Ellis. “It’s companies like Midwest Sheet Metal that makes it possible for series like ours to exist. I hope that racers and fans will support them whenever possible.”

For Davis, becoming a sponsor of the CCSDS seemed like a natural fit.

“It’s no secret that I’m a huge race fan, and I just like doing whatever I can to support racing,” Chris Davis noted. “I’ve heard a lot of good things over the past few years about the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series, so we made the decision to become involved. I wish all of the racers the best of luck this season, and I can’t wait to see, who is still running that orange spoiler at the end of the year!”

Located in the heart of Ozark Mountain Country, Midwest Sheet Metal Company is a family-owned and operated business, specializing in the design and custom fabrication of carbon steel, stainless and aluminum products. They have one of the area’s largest in-stock inventories of steel, aluminum, stainless and structural shapes. The company is dedicated to producing quality, custom designed fabrications with craftsmanship second to none. This Saturday’s $2,500-to-win/$400-to-start event at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) comes with great anticipation. The ¼-mile oval saw new clay and a new configuration installed in the off-season, and early in the 2017 season the track has been receiving great reviews from fans and racers alike.

In 2016 Jack Sullivan claimed a pair of series’ wins at the facility, while Garrett Alberson and Kyle Beard each scored a single win. Mother Nature was also victorious on a single occasion.

This Saturday, April 15 will see a complete CCSDS program contested, which will include time trials, heat races, b-mains, and the 40-lap finale. IMCA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Factory Stocks and Mod-Lites will also be a part of the program. Adult grandstand admission is $15 with kids (6-12 years-of-age) $1 when accompanied by an adult. Pit passes are $30. For more information on the facility, please visit www.I-30Speedway.com .
