COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Heads to Texas and Louisiana
Timberline Speedway and Ark-La-Tex Speedway on Deck

Conway, Arkansas (04/30/19) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil is preparing to head to Texas and Louisiana this weekend – May 3-4. Friday finds the tour at Billy White’s Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas), while Saturday takes the traveling show to Gene Boyter’s Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana)

“This is a big weekend for our series with some really nice money on the line,” CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan noted. “Timberline Speedway always produces a good show for the fans and teams. Then, on Saturday night we’ll be sanctioning the ninth annual Pelican 100 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway, and that place has a history of putting on some incredible races.”

With three events completed in 2019, Billy Moyer leads the way in the points. However, since Moyer isn’t a paid series member, second-place runner Tony Jackson Jr. is currently the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man point leader for the series entering this weekend’s events. Kyle Beard, B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Morgan Bagley, Scott Crigler, Gavin Landers, Timothy Culp, Brian Rickman, Charlie Cole, David Payne and Sawyer Crigler, Robert Baker, Chad Mallett, and Jon Mitchell round out the latest standings.

Scott Crigler enters the upcoming weekend as the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year point leader. Charlie Cole and Chad Mallett round out the point’s battle.

Action opens on Friday, May 3 at Timberline Speedway with a $3,000-to-win/ $400-to-start program for the CCSDS contingent. Four Cylinders, Factory Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Limited Modifieds and Modifieds will all be in action as well.

Adult grandstand admission is $20 with children (6-12 years of age) $5, and kids (age 5 and under) free. Fans can bring their own cooler in for a $5 fee. Pit admission is $35.
