COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Bad Boy 98 this Weekend!
Batesville Motor Speedway Hosts Big Doubleheader
CONWAY, Ark. (05/05/25) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models are chomping at the bit to get back to the track this Friday and Saturday, May 9 – 10 at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) with the 2025 edition of the Bad Boy 98.
Thus far into the 2025 season Mother Nature has not been a team player the tour, selfishly taking victories in six of the eight scheduled races. In fact, the last successfully contested CCSDS event came on March 15 at Springfield (Mo.) Raceway, where current Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man point leader, Timothy Culp took the win.
The only other event completed thus far this year was the Ronny Adams Memorial on March 7 at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.), which was won by Cade Dillard.
The CCSDS contingent now looks to bluer skies this weekend. Pursuing Culp in the latest Top 10 in the series standings are Billy Moyer, B.J. Robinson, Jon Kirby, Morgan Bagley, Jon Mitchell, David Breazeale, Kyle Beard, Eli Ross, and Brennon Willard.
Oklahoma’s Eli Ross currently holds a 5-point lead atop the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle over Brennon Willard with Shawn Mann rounding out the battle in third.
Now all their attention turns to Batesville Motor Speedway for the Bad Boy 98 weekend. On Friday, May 9 the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Super Late Model pilots will vie for a $5,000 top prize, while the program on Saturday, May 10 posts a $12,000 top prize.
