COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Returns to Boothill Speedway

Beebe, Arkansas (7/05/17) – For the first time since 2010 the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will return to Boothill Speedway this Saturday, July 8.

With the series preparing to tackle the oval for the first time in several years, the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, Jack Sullivan has been red-hot in series competition. He’s won five of the past seven tour races, including a pair of wins over the weekend. The two-time defending series champion has six total wins on the season and has a commanding advantage atop the standings.

This Saturday, July 8 a talented contingent of racers will look to make up ground in the pursuit of the championship.

Garrett Alberson, Kyle Beard, BJ Robinson, Zach McMillan, Tanner Kellick, Gavin Landers, Robert Baker, Hunter Rasdon, Jon Mitchell, David Payne, and Brandon Wilson all currently reside in the Top 12 in the series standings.

With ten events completed on the 2017 CCSDS season, five drivers have visited Victory Lane. Sullivan leads the way with six victories, while Brian Rickman, Kyle Beard, Timothy Culp, and Tim McCreadie each have a single triumph on the season.

The Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle is currently led by Zach McMillan, who holds a three-point advantage over Louisiana’s Tanner Kellick. Brandon Wilson is in third.

This Saturday, July 8 the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series returns to Boothill Speedway for the first time since 2010, when home state racer, Kenny Merchant picked up the victory. This Saturday’s event will be headlined by a $2,500-to-win/$400-to-start program for the CCSDS competitors. Modifieds will also be on the card as they battle for $1,000-to-win. They will be joined by Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds, Modifieds, Pro Mods, Front Wheel Drive, and Wedge Carts.

Gates open at 4 p.m. with the draw ending at 6:15 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $20 with Seniors & Military $10, kids (age 6-to-11) $5, and children (ages 5-and-under) free. Pit admission is $35.

The tire rule for the event is Hoosier 1350.
