COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Back in Action with a Weekend Doubleheader
Tour Thunders into Timberline Speedway and Boothill Speedway

Beebe, Arkansas (07/17/18) – Following a one-week break to allow competitors to catch their breath, the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil will be back to the grind this weekend – July 20-21 – with a trip to Texas and Louisiana.

On Friday, July 20 the tour makes its second and final appearance of 2018 at Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas), while Saturday will see the traveling show rolling into Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana).

Current Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, Jack Sullivan continues to enjoy a comfortable advantage atop the series standings. B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Gavin Landers, Tanner Kellick, David Payne, Robert Baker, Chandler Petty, Robby Moore, and Jake Davis round out the current Top 10 in the series standings.

Meanwhile, Tanner Kellick has opened up a comfortable advantage atop the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year standings. Robby Moore and Jake Davis currently round out the standings in the battle.

With 17 events completed thus far into the 2018 season, there have been 11 different winners.

Action opens on Friday, July 20 at Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas) with a $2,000-to-win/ $350-to-start program. Cade Dillard picked up his first-career win with the series back in March, when the tour last visited the clay oval. Modifieds ($1,000-to-win), Factory Stocks, Super Stocks, Limited Modifieds, and Four Cylinders will all be a part of the program. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing action at 7:30 p.m.

Adult grandstand admission is $20 with kids (6-12) $5, and children (5 and under) free. You can bring your own cooler into the grandstands for a $5 fee. Pit passes are $35. For more information on the facility, please visit www.TimberlineSpeedway.com .

Saturday, July 21 takes the tour to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) for a $2,500-to-win/ $400-to-start event. The program will mark the only appearance by the CCSDS at the facility in 2018. Factory Stocks, Pro Mods, FWD, and Limited Modifieds ($600-to-win) will all be in action.
