CCSDS Set for Batesville Motor Speedway and Legit Speedway Park

Conway, Arkansas (07/22/19) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil victory wraps up racing for the month of July this weekend with a doubleheader. On Friday night the tour rolls into Mooney Starr’s Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) before invading Gary Stolba’s Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri).

“There’s a lot of racing history at both of this weekend’s tracks, so it will be really cool to be back at them,” commented CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan. “The weather is looking great, so hopefully we’ll get to see a lot of our great fans at both tracks.”

On the heels of his third win of the 2019 season, which came on Friday night at Texarkana 67 Speedway, Tony Jackson Jr. extended his advantage as the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man atop the CCSDS standings. Meanwhile, with a Saturday night win at Boothill Speedway Timothy Culp has climbed to second in the points. Kyle Beard, B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Morgan Bagley, Brian Rickman, Scott Crigler, Jon Mitchell, Charlie Cole, Chad Mallett, and David Payne round out the Top-5 drivers in the current standings.

Scott Crigler continues to lead the way in the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle. Charlie Cole and Chad Mallett sit second and third in the battle.

On Friday, July 26 the tour will host a $2,500-to-win/$400-to-start event at Batesville Motor Speedway. The program will serve as a tune-up for the upcoming COMP Cams Topless 100. IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Front Wheel Drive and Cruisers will be in action as well.

The pit gate opens at 4:00 p.m. with grandstand gates at 5:00 p.m. and racing action at 8:00 p.m. Adult grandstand admission is $20 with children (ages 12-15) $5, and kids (ages 11-and-under) Free. Pit admission is $35.

Saturday, July 27 will find the CCSDS competitors racing at Legit Speedway Park in a $3,000-to-win/ $400-to-start program that is presented by West Plains Resaw Systems and Missouri Hardwood. IMCA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods, Hobby Stocks, Super Stocks and Bone Stocks will contest complete programs as well.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing action at 7:00 p.m. Adult general admission is $20 with children (ages 6-12) $5 and kids (ages 5-and-under) Free with an adult. Senior citizens, military and veterans get a discounted admission price of $15.

Batesville Motor Speedway’s tire rule is a Hoosier 1350 on all four corners with a Hoosier LM40 option for the right-rear only. The tire rule for Legit Speedway Park is Hoosier LM40 and Hoosier WRS55 allowed on all four corners.
