COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Invades Springfield Raceway this Saturday
$3,000 Top Prize Up Grabs at Missouri Oval

Beebe, Arkansas (09/10/18) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) thunders forward with the 2018 campaign this Saturday, September 15 with a trip to Missouri’s Springfield Raceway.

The evening’s finale at the ¼-mile oval will be headlined by a $3,000-to-win/ $450-to-start feature.

The CCSDS competitors kicked off their 2018 campaign at the facility back in mid March, and it was current Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, Jack Sullivan who picked up the win. Since that opening night Sullivan hasn’t relinquished the top spot in the point standings and will lead the tour into battle this Saturday as he pursues his fourth-straight series crown.

B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Gavin Landers, Tanner Kellick, David Payne, Chandler Petty, Robert Baker, Robby Moore, and Kyle Beard round out the Top 10 in the current standings.

Tanner Kellick has clinched the 2018 Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year title.

This Saturday, September 15 the CCSDS will invade Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) for a $3,000-to-win/ $450-to-start event. Also, on the program will be USRA B-Mods ($400-to-win), Midwest Mods ($200-to-win), Pure Stock ($200-to-win) and Legends ($250-to-win).

Adult grandstand admission is $20 with kids (ages 12-and-under) free. Pit passes are $40 with kids (6-12 years-of-age) $15 and children (ages 5-and-under) free.

The pit gate opens at 3:30 p.m. with the grandstand gate opening at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing action at 7:00 p.m.

The tire rule for the night will be LM40 and WRS55 tires allowed on all four corners all night.
