FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Ben Shelton (msrmafia@gmail.com) October 9, 2018 COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Set for Lucas Oil Fall Nationals this Weekend CCSDS & Lucas Oil MLRA Hook Horns this Weekend Beebe, Arkansas (10/09/18) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) officially enters the home stretch of the 2018 season this weekend – October 12-13 – with a trip to Lucas Oil Speedway for the fifth annual Fall Nationals. The big weekend of racing at the state-of-the-art, 3/8-mile oval will be headlined by a $3,000-to-win program on Friday night and a $5,000-to-win program on Saturday evening. The weekend will be co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA). “It’s always an honor for our series to get the chance to race at Lucas Oil Speedway, and we always look forward to going head-to-head with the Lucas Oil MLRA series,” CCSDS CEO Chris Ellis said. “This will be a great weekend of racing that is a must-see for area fans.” Heading into the weekend, Jack Sullivan continues to the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man atop the series standings as he pursues his unprecedented fourth-straight title. B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Gavin Landers, Tanner Kellick, David Payne, Chandler Petty, Robert Baker, Kyle Beard and Robby Moore round out the current Top-10 in the series standings. Louisiana’s Tanner Kellick recently clinched the 2018 Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year title. The Lucas Oil MLRA will bring its own talented roster of competitors into battle with a great championship battle between Chad Simpson and Will Vaught headlining the driver list. On Friday night a $3,000-to-win Super Late Model program will be on tap. B-Modifieds will also be on the card with preliminary action for the Clash of Champions. Adult grandstand admission (age 16+) will be $15 with senior citizens (62+) and military $12, youth (6-15 years) $5, and kids (5 and under) free. A family grandstand pass is available for $30. On Saturday night a $5,000 top prize will be on the line for the Super Late Model ranks with an additional $500 bonus going to the winner, in memory of Ron Jenkins, the original builder of Wheatland Raceway. The B-Modified Clash of Champions will also be a part of the show with $3,000 going to the winner. Adult grandstand admission (age 16+) will be $20 with senior citizens (62+) and military $17, youth (6-15 years) $10, and kids (5 and under) free. A family grandstand pass is available for $40.
