COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Thunders Through Arkansas this Weekend
Crowley’s Ridge Raceway and I-30 Speedway Take Center Stage

Beebe, Arkansas (05/30/18) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil will kick off the month of June in fine style this weekend with a doubleheader in the state of Arkansas.

Crowley’s Ridge Raceway will welcome the tour on Friday night for the first appearance of 2018, while I-30 Speedway will play host to the eighth annual Rockabilly 45 on Saturday night.

With 10 events complete this season, three-time and defending series champion, Jack Sullivan continues to be the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man atop the 2018 CCSDS standings. He holds a 53-marker advantage over Hunter Rasdon with Robert Baker, B.J. Robinson and Tanner Kellick rounding out the Top 5. Robby Moore, Gavin Landers, Austin Theiss, and Chandler Petty complete the Top 10 in series standings.

Tanner Kellick has stretched his advantage atop the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year standings to 10 points over Robby Moore.

The weekend opens on Friday, June 1 at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) with a $2,000-to-win/$350-to-start event. This will mark the first of two appearances by the tour at the facility in 2018. Modifieds and Factory Stocks will also be on the evening’s card.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing action at 7:30 p.m. Adult grandstand admission is $20 with kids $10 and children (ages 5-and-under) free. Pit passes are $30.

Saturday night finds the action moving to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) as the ¼-mile oval plays host to the eighth annual Rockabilly 45. This will mark the second of three visits by the tour to the facility in 2018. Drivers will be battling for $5,000-to-win and $400-to-start in the 45-lap finale. Modifieds, Bumper-To-Bumper Super Stocks and Mod Lites will also be on the evening’s card.

Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with hot laps at 7:00 p.m. and racing action at 7:30 p.m. Adult grandstand admission is $20 with kids (6-12 years of age) $2 when accompanied by an adult. Pit passes are $35.
