CHEVY SUPER SERIES NORTH GEORGIA RACE POSTPONED, BOYD’S NOW $2,500-TO-WIN

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

            CARTERSVILLE, GA – Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series and North Georgia Speedway officials have agreed to postpone Saturday night’s 50-lap $3,000-to-win race due to a weather forecast calling for an 80 to 100 percent chance of rain at the Chatsworth, GA track. Both Chevy Super Series and North Georgia Speedway officials will soon announce a rescheduled date.

            The Friday night Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series 2018 season opener at Boyd’s Speedway is on as scheduled. Chevy Super Series Founder and CEO Mike Vaughn and Boyd’s Speedway Promoter Kathie Coulter have gotten together to make this race now pay $2,500-to-win.

            On Friday at Boyd’s Speedway, the Pit Gate opens at 4 p.m., and Chevy Super Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection is from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is set for 6:30 p.m., with racing scheduled for 7 p.m.
