Officials from the track and all of the series were in agreement that more money for a one day show on Saturday with a Friday night practice would be best due to High School Football being in full swing by the first weekend in October on Friday night.

The next race on the 2018 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series schedule is the 2nd Annual $5,000-to-win King of the Crate 60 at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL on Friday night, September 28 and Saturday night, September 29.
