CHEVY SUPER SERIES TO CANCEL SEPTEMBER RACES DUE TO WEATHER AND SCHEDULING CONFLICTS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

            CARTERSVILLE, GA – Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series officials have announced they are cancelling their remaining September races due to weather concerns and scheduling conflicts. 
           
            The race scheduled for this Saturday night at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA is being cancelled due to the approaching Category 4 Hurricane Florence. The September 22 event scheduled for  Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL is being cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. 
           
            The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will return to action on October 26 and 27 at Talladega Short Track. The October 26 race will pay $2,000-to-win, and the October 27 race will be the 2018 season finale paying $5,000-to-win.
