Cartersville, GA - Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series Officials have released the 2017 Touring Schedule for the Super Late Model division powered by the all-aluminum Chevrolet Performance CT 525 racing engine. The 2017 Tour is looking to be one of the best yet for the division as it heads into its fifth season with 12 confirmed events, with the possibility of up to 16, as a couple of additional weekends are being negotiated as tracks finalize their 2017 season schedules.

The season will open up for the second consecutive season at one of the favorite stops on the schedule, Mitch and Tanya McCarter's 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN. 411 has been the site of some of the most intense and competitive racing in the history of the series.

The Chevy Super Series' second stop will take it for its first visit to the David Duplissey and Dale McDowell promoted Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, GA for a $3,000 to win, 50 lap event on Saturday April 15th. The famed 1/3rd mile oval has undergone extensive renovations under their ownership, and fans and competitors alike are sure to be happy with the stop.

The month of April will wind-down with a two-stop weekend at a pair of South Georgia ovals. Friday April 28th the series will make its first stop at Pooler, GA's Oglethorpe Speedway Park for a 30 lap, $2,000 to win event. Then on Saturday night April 29th the tour will make a stop at Chris Martin's Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA for a $3,000 to win, 50 lap main event.
Back on the 2017 slate will be a stop at East Alabama Motor Speedway on Saturday May 13th where the annual "Jimmy Thomas Memorial" 50 lap, $3,000 to win event will take place at the track constructed and promoted for many years by the race's namesake.

The month of June will kick off in exciting fashion as the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will run a $3,000 to win, 50 lap event in conjunction with the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division at one of the most storied short tracks in the country - Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA. The "Dixie Doubleheader" will feature both divisions of cars at the "Home of The Champions" for an exciting night that fans and drivers will be sure to circle on their calendars.

Saturday June 24th will take the cars and stars of the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series to the sunshine state for the first ever visit to Tom and Kim Lowery's Southern Raceway in Milton, FL. The track, located just a short drive from the beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, has seen major improvements for both fans and drivers since coming under the management of the Lowery family and Chevy Super Series officials are excited about making the stop.

After a year absence from the schedule, on Saturday night July 15th the tour will make a visit to "The Hornet's Nest" Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL for a $3,000 to win, 50 lap event.

The series will return to the Volunteer State for an August 4th and 5th Tennessee two-step with stops on Friday night the 4th at Tim and Angie Kyle's I-75 Raceway for a $2,000 to win, 30 lap event. Then on Saturday August 5th, the series will make its second stop at the McCarter's 411 Motor Speedway for a $3,000 to win, 50 lap main event.

After a successful debut in 2016, the Labor Day weekend will once again be full of ultimate racing excitement, as the tour will visit two storied facilities to finish out the season. Saturday Night September 2nd the tour will stop once again at the "Home of the Champions" Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA for a $2,000 to win event. Then on Sunday September 3rd, the series returns to the "World's Fastest Half Mile Clay Oval" Rome Speedway for a spectacular $10,000 to win, 100 lap Chevrolet Performance 100 to celebrate the 51st Anniversary of Rome Speedway.
