CRATE RACIN’ USA POSTPONES THE START OF THE WEEKLY RACING SERIES SEASON

ADAIRSVILLE, GA - With the recent uncertainty of the ability of their sanctioned tracks to host Weekly Racing events as a result of the COVID 19 outbreak, Crate Racin’ USA management has announced they we will be postponing the start of the 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Weekly Racing Series season.

The 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Weekly Racing Series points were slated to begin the week of March 23rd, but with the recent developments concerning holding public gatherings, as well as the financial risks that many will be faced with, Series officials will review the start date and make a follow up announcement on Tuesday, March 31st.

This date was selected as it was the recommended “15 day” plan that was encouraged in a Monday March 16 briefing by the President of the United States and Federal health officials. Between now and March 31, Series officials will remain in close contact with Promoters, Sponsors, and Government officials to make sure we have a plan of action in place for execution on that date.

If further delays or changes to the structuring of the Weekly Racing Series season or points structure are required, they will be presented to Series Promoters so that any concerns or comments can be addressed. At this time, it is the intention of Crate Racin’ USA officials to run the full 27-Week 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Weekly Racing Series season.

“Our office will be open, and our staff will be available as always, as well as our Crate Seal orders for engine repairs or rebuilds will be fulfilled,” Crate Racin’ USA Director Adam Stewart said. “Our marketing/corporate partners will still be moving their products as they see fit and/or according to their corporate policies.

Stewart said it is the series hope is that moving of the start date of the 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Weekly Racing Series season will allow all of their sanctioned speedways and partner sanctions to get through the COVID 19 pandemic and back to business as usual without any one track or area of competitors being able to get an advantage.
