              ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Scottie Hiett of Wedowie, AL remains the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman point leader after Week 10 action. Hiett finished fourth on Saturday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL in the East Alabama Truck Repair Special powered by an economical Chevrolet Performance 602 Engine.

              Hiett has a ten-week total of 494 points and has an 11-point lead over Seth Johnston of Santa Fe, TN, who has a ten-week total of 483 points. The defending Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman National Champion Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL is third in the National standings with a ten-week total of 471 points.

              Jamie Gowers of Vincent, AL drove the Gowers Racing Special to his first Modified Sportsman win of the season on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL. Gowers is fourth in the National standings with a ten-week total of 449 points. The top four drivers in the Modified Sportsman point standings are using Chevrolet Performance 602 power.

              Ron Bailey of Harvest, AL is fifth in the Modified Sportsman National standings with a ten-week total of 444 points, and Paul Poe of Ragland, AL is sixth with a ten-week total of 428 points. Tracy Terrell is seventh with a nine-week total of 423 points, and Tim Staples of Pell City, AL is eighth with a nine-week total of 422 points.

              ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Brett White of Kosciusko, MS just keeps rolling along with the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Sportsman point lead. White drove the Attala Steel Rocket to his ninth win of the season on Saturday night in Week 10 action at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS. 

            White now has a ten-week total of 499 points, one point away from a perfect season in the first ten weeks of the 2020 season. The race White did not win, he finished second. White has an 11-point lead over Ryan King of Anniston, AL, who picked up his tenth win of the season on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL driving the David King Automotive Special.

The difference between King’s point total and White’s point total is that one of King’s ten wins was a 40-point win with a field of less than eight cars, and a third-place finish. Levi Aldridge of Double Springs, AL is third in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Late Model Sportsman standings with ten-week total of 459 points.

Sherman Everett of Morris, AL is fourth in the National standings with a ten-week total of 448 points. Everett captured his third win of the season on Saturday night at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL. 

J.C. Wilson of Milton, FL and Heather Lowe of Warrior, AL are tied for the fifth spot in the Late Model Sportsman National standings with 436 points apiece. Wilson reached his total in nine weeks, and Lowe reached her total in ten weeks.

NEWSOME RACEWAY PARTS WEEKLY RACING SERIES STREET STOCK WEEK 10 ROUND UP

              ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Dannon LaCoste of Theriot, LA remains the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Street Stock point leader after Week 10 competition. LaCoste drove to a fifth-place finish on Saturday night at Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS driving the Wilson’s Oysters Special.

              LaCoste has a ten week total of 469 points for a Weekly Point Average of 46.90, and holds a 27-point lead over the 2018 Crate Racin’ USA Street Stock National Champion Ricky Idom of Hattiesburg, MS, who drove the Tri-Sate Rock and Rails Special to his eighth win of the season at Pike County Speedway. Idom has a nine-week total of 442 points and a WPA of 49.11.

              Landen Jackson of Norco, LA is third in the Newsome Raceway Parts Street Stock standings with a ten-week total of 435 points. Carl Kilgore IV of Greenville, MS drove the Lee’s Body Shop Special to his fifth win of the season on Saturday night at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, and is fourth in the standings with a nine-week total of 434 points.

              Lee Ray of Columbus, MS is fifth in the Street Stock National standings with a nine-week total of 432 points. Ray took his third win of the season on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS driving The Eaton Clinic Special. J.R. Brown of Calera, AL is sixth in the standings with a ten-week total of 424 points.

              Noel Bailey of Lacy Springs, AL is seventh in the Street Stock National standings with a ten-week total of 421 points. Michael Rodrigue of LaPlace, LA is tied with Jeremy Isbell of Vandiver, AL for eighth in the National standings. Both drivers have a nine-week total of 414 points. 

            Isbell drove the Allen’s Deer Processing Special to his third win of the season on Saturday night at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL. Sam Hughes rounds out the top ten in the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Street Stock standings after Week 10 competition with nine-week total of 405 points.

In other Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Street Stock Week 10 action, Jeremy Eaton of Wiggins, MS took a 40-point win on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS in the McDaniel Racing Special and T.J. Herndon of Atwood, TN was the winner on Saturday night at Camden Speedway in Camden, TN in the Dale’s Recycling Special.

Ryan Allday picked up a pair of 40-point wins on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS. Allday won the Week 9 Make-Up Race and then came back to win the Week 10 Race.
