Devin Dixon Charges to $3,000 Victory at the Clay by the Bay

Ocala, Florida (12/12/16) – Starting four rows deep in the field was no impediment for Devin Dixon on Saturday night as he powered the Big Frog Motorsports #58 Dave’s Towing/Rocket XR-1 Late Model to the $3,000 triumph in the Donnie Tanner Memorial.

Competing in the Topless Donnie Tanner Memorial, the Big Frog Motorsports team headed to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on Saturday night for the unsanctioned event. Rolling off the grid in the 8th position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Dixon worked his way into a podium spot within the first 5 laps. After getting past race-leader Kyle Bronson, Devin never looked back and charged to the team’s ninth win of the season. Keith Nosbisch, Phillip Cobb, Ivedent Lloyd, and Josh Peacock completed the Top 5 finishers in the 50-lapper.

“We had a lot of great competitors starting in front of us, but I knew if I did my job that we had a car that could win,” said Dixon. “Now hopefully we can head back to East Bay this Saturday and bag another big win to wrap up the season!”

Big Frog Motorsports will return to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) this Saturday, December 17 to compete in the Dalton Myers Memorial. The 54-lap Late Model event will post in excess of $5,400 to the winner at the 1/3-mile oval. This will mark the final event of the season for the team.
