2019 DURRENCE LAYNE CHEVROLET DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES NATIONAL TOURING SCHEDULE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring schedule has been released, as the tour prepares for its 15th consecutive season. The schedule features 21 races at nine tracks in five different states. Durrence Layne Racing officials said there are current negotiations still underway to add more events in the coming weeks.

The puzzle of putting together the 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series schedule took a little longer than usual because the pieces were different this year. Several tracks had to move the dates of traditional races and that caused other tracks to also have to be moved to new dates.

Durrence Layne Racing officials also announced increased purses for both $2,500-to-win races and $2,000-to-win races. The $2,500-to-win races will now pay $250-to-start, and the $2,000-to-win races will pay $200-to-start in 2019.

The Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series schedule begins with the Rumble On The Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS featuring a $2,000-to-win race on April 5, and a $2,500-to-win race on April 6.

The Mid-South Nationals will take place on April 12 at Camden Speedway in Camden, TN with a $2,000-to-win race and on April 13 with a $2,500-to-win event at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL. North Alabama Speedway will also host a $2,000-to-win race on October 4, and then present the $5,000-to-win 3rd Annual King of the Crates Race on October 5.

Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL will host the first two of five races that will appear on the 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series schedule during NASCAR Weekend on April 26 with a $2,000-to-win event, and on April 27 with a $2,500-to-win race.

The third Talladega Short Track race will be a $2,500-to-win event on July 3 to open the Salute To America Nationals, and second NASCAR Weekend takes place on October 11 with a $2,000-to-win race and a $2,500-to-win race on October 12.

The Annual Salute To The Armed Forces Nationals on Memorial Day Weekend will open with the $2,500-to-win Salute To The Navy 50 at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS on May 25, and then it’s the $2,000-to-win Salute To The Air Force 40 on May 26 at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Meridian, MS.

The Mag will also host 2019 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series season finale with the Annual Possum Town Grand Prix on November 28-30. Details for this event will be announced in the coming days.

Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA presents a trio of Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series races as a part of the Salute To America Nationals. Cochran Motor Speedway will have a pair of $2,000-to-win races on July 4 and July 5, and it’s a $2,500-to-win race on July 6. Durrence Layne Racing officials are working on a Bonus for the Salute To America Nationals.

The Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will return to Southern Raceway in Milton, FL in 2019 for a pair of races with a possible $10,000-to-win during the weekend. Southern Raceway will present a $3,000-to-win race on October 25, followed by a $7,000-to-win event on October 26.
