DUCK RIVER DURRENCE LAYNE LATE MODEL RACE POSTPONED ONE WEEK

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Winter Shootout event scheduled for Saturday at Duck River Raceway Park has been postponed one week due to unfavorable weather for the $3,000-to-win $250-to-start 40-lap race. The Winter Fest race has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 23.

The weather forecast calls for rain on already saturated grounds at Duck River Raceway Park for Friday followed by cold temperatures on Saturday. There will be an Open Practice at Duck River Raceway Park from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, February 22.

On Saturday, February 23, the pit gate opens at 10:30 a.m., with Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Drivers Meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m.
