DURRENCE LAYNE WEEKLY RACING SERIES WEEK 9 ROUND UP ADAIRSVILLE, GA – It was a very busy Week 9 for the Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series, as 15 of 17 scheduled events reported results for the four racing Divisions. One race was rained out, and another didn’t report their Week 9 results by deadline. Complete results are listed below, and the updated points are posted at www.durrencelayneracing.com. Another highlight was 14-year-old Parker Martin of Milledgeville, GA taking his first Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division career win on Sunday night at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA. Martin is also competing for the VP Racing Fuels Young Guns Challenge Series Championship for Late Model drivers 18 years of age and under. Cole Cameron of Hattiesburg, MS continues to lead the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division point standings. Cameron finished second on Saturday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. The 2018 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock World Champion T.J. Herndon of Atwood, TN topped a 27-car field on Sunday night to win the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division race at Duck River Raceway Park in Lewisburg, TN. Joseph Nicholson of Fort Walton Beach, FL is the Street Stock National point leader being the only driver to compete in all nine weeks of competition. Bryson Mitchell of Russellville, AL defeated a 41-car field of Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division entries on Sunday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS. The win moved Mitchell into a tie for the second spot in the National standings with Cruz Wallace of Tuscumbia, AL. Morgen Lambert of Booneville, MS is the National point leader. Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL continues to lead the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division National point standings. Riddle finished second on Saturday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL.
