BONUS BUCKS FOR DURRENCE LAYNE LATE MODEL SALUTE TO AMERICA NATIONALS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

              CARTERSVILLE, GA – Drivers competing in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series three-race Salute To America Nationals will be eligible to collect all, or a portion of the $2,500 Bonus Bucks being offered up by Mike Vaughn’s Auto Exchange in Cartersville, GA. If a driver can win all three races, that driver could pocket $10,000 for three days work.

            The trio of $2,500-to-win 50-lap Salute To America races will begin at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA on Saturday night, June 30, then stop at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA on Sunday night, July 1, and the finale will be at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on Tuesday night, July 3.
           
            Mike Vaughn’s Auto Exchange will pay a driver a $2,500 Bonus to win all three races. If a driver can win two of the three races, Mike Vaughn’s Auto Exchange will pay a $1,500 Bonus. If there are no multiple winners, the driver that earns the most point over the three-race Salute To America Nationals will pocket an extra $1,000 from Mike Vaughn’s Auto Exchange.
           
            The three Salute To America Nationals races will be Rounds 7, 8, and 9 of the 2018 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour. Two-time and defending Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model National Champion Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, TN is the point leader with two wins on the season going into the Salute To America Nationals.
           
            Ashton Winger of Senoia, GA is second in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model points chase with one win and he also leads the Cruise With The Champions Rookie of the Year point standings. Jake Knowles of Rome, GA is third in the standings with one win. Andy Picklesimer of Ooltewah, TN is fourth and Rookie of the Year Candidate Jamey Boland of Cuba, AL is fifth.
           
            Also expected for the three-race Salute To America Nationals are Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Touring regulars T.J. Brittain of Centre, AL, Bryant Marsh of Corinth, MS, Marcus Minga of Shannon, MS, Austin Burns of Georgetown, IN, Tyler Wood of Hohenwald, TN, Oakley Johns of Hohenwald, TN, and Chad Stapleton of Edinburgh, IN.
