SALUTE TO AMERICA NATIONALS UP NEXT FOR DURRENCE LAYNE LATE MODEL TOUR

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour is ready for the three race, three track Salute To America Nationals that will be contested in three $2,500-To-Win 50-lap events on Saturday night, Sunday night, and Tuesday night. Bonus Bucks will give a driver an opportunity to pocket $10,000 to win all three races.

The Salute To America Nationals will begin on Saturday night at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA, just outside Chattanooga, TN on the Tennessee-Georgia State Line. The middle race of the July 4th Holiday extravaganza will be held at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA on Sunday night. The finale will be on Tuesday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.

The Bonus Bucks from Mike Vaughn’s Auto Exchange in Cartersville, GA not only includes $2,500 to a driver that can win all three races, but if a driver can win two of the three races, that will be worth an extra $1,500. If there are no multiple winners, the driver that earns the most points over the three-race series will collect an extra $1,000.

The two-time and defending Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Champion Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, TN is the point leader after the first six races of the 2018 season. Hedgecock has 562 points after two wins, four top five finishes, and six top ten finishes. One of Hedgecock’s two wins came in April at Talladega Short Track.
