The victory put The General into the Top 5 of the Late Model National point standings. Lee is fifth with 471 points after five wins, nine top five finishes and 11 top ten finishes in 11 races over ten weeks of racing. Sid Scarbrough of Florence, MS finished second to Lee at Jackson Motor Speedway on Saturday night in the Villa South Special, and remains second in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division National standings with 508 points. Scarbrough closed to within 13 of National point leader Cole Cameron of Hattiesburg, MS. Cameron did not compete in Week 14 action. Scarbrough has three wins, nine top five finishes and 13 top ten finishes in 13 races over 11 weeks of competition. Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS is third in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division standings with 479 points after one win, 11 top five finishes and 12 top ten finishes in 12 races over ten weeks. Jarrell drove the Jarrell Racing Rocket to a third-place finish on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway.
