The second-place driver in the National Street Stock point standings, Hayden Moran of Covington, LA did not compete in Week 16 Durrence Layne Street Stock action, mainly due to the remnants of Hurricane Barry that washed out nine of the 12 races on the schedule of events.

Hamilton has reached the 14-week mark of his season with 666 points, and Moran has 614 points with one more week to earn full points. Hamilton will now try to net on a 41, which is the lowest weekly point total among his 14 week total.
